Professional Projects

This is my professional projects page. Here you can find lots of the projects that I have worked on throughout my professional career. Below is a short blurb relating to each project, with a picture that links to a page specifically about that project. Lots of these projects come from my time working at the University of Dayton IT Service Center. While I was a student employee there I was a member of the management team for 3 years of my 4.5 year tenure, making my projects quite integral to the functioning of the service center. The other project was one that I participated in for a duration of, but not the entire project. You can learn more about all of these below.

The Hayden Apartments

This is a picture of The Hayden Apartments located in Covington, KY. This was a collaborative project between Urban Sites and Al Neyer, both based in Cincinnati, OH. I was fortunate to land a co-op position working as a project manager / superintendent for this job. Between 2021 and 2023 this city building was converted into a modern apartment building located less than 1/4 mile from the Ohio River. For more information on this project, click on the picture!

Scheduling Sheet

This is a scheduling sheet that I designed in order to help schedule student employees for the upcoming semester. Student employees with UDIT must work a minimum of 10 hours a week and cannot exceed a maximum of 20 hour a week. This, along with varying class schedules, made staffing the service desk a challenge. Training Sheet

This is a training sheet I designed in order to schedule and track the progress of new employees training. There are 2 main areas of the service center that I worked in, I was responsible for the training of Service Desk members and overseeing their cross-training in the Call Center. Audit Database

This is the Audit Database that we used at the UDIT Service Center. This is a quality assurance audit where we review every ticket made during the day at the service desk. If a ticket is not to our expected standards based on reasonable expectations and employee ability, we let the employee know via information in this spreadsheet. While I inherited this spreadsheet, I added lots of valuable resources and kept it updated throughout the years. To learn more about this project, click on the picture!

Stats Sheet

This is a Stats Sheet that I made to help motivate our student team. Friendly competition makes for a more exciting and collaborative work space. These stats were used to track the output of all of our service desk employees, and allow them to “compete” with each other to gain the highest stats number for their team.
